Ahmad Rahi (12 November 1923 – 2 September 2002) was a Punjabi poet and writer. He was born in Amritsar. He wrote about the Partition of India. He also wrote many songs for films eg. Heer Ranjha, Mirza Jatt, Murad Baloch, Najo Yakkewali etc. His first book of poetry, Tarinjan, was published in 1952.
